There are a lot of Freebodys from our boat place on the River Thames at Caversham Reading that I would like to find out about. Thanks to your site this might now be possible. Hello, Great site, really interesting especially with the photos. I married into the family and have spent some fascinating time researching Peter FREEBODY'S family and their life on the Thames. Hi, this relates to a message I posted on 18/1/ 2005. It relates to I now know Capt James H Freebody dob 4/7/1885 author of Heat, Hell & Humour. Mother Sarah Alexandra Freebody, Father William Freebody. He had 3 sisters, Sophia, Elizabeth, & Winifred. I think 1 daughter. I am desperate for information/photos of this man. I don't think there is a link but one always lives in hope. I am looking for the family of Thomas (1803-1845?) and Annie Matilda Freebody (nee Benton)(1807-1885) Their first son Thomas (1883-1891) came to Australia in about 1853. They seem to be London based. Hi I had one answer to my message about my dad from my cousins Reg and Bev. Is there anyone else out there who knew my dad and have any more pictures. Maybe of him and my mom. I am looking for a picture of my dad Reginald Douglas Hedley Freebody. I've never seen what he looks like. I was trying to find out if any of the Freebodys knew my dad, and if they had any pictures of him, I was a child when he died and never knew him.
