John Willis Freebody (1894 - 1987)

This magazine article of December 15th 1918 was sent courtesy of Lawren Freebody.

It gives details of some of John's (known as Jack) army experiences, and how he met his first wife Elsie Kathleen BOUL (1895-1955).

John collected a lot of information relating to the surname of Freebody, and had it published as a bound set of information pieces entitled "Eight Centuries of Freebodys". A copy was deposited in a number of major libraries.
