1841 Census: Ann was living in Heston, Middlesex in 1841 (aged 4), and it was recorded that she was born in Middlesex.

1851 Census: There is a little confusion over the recording of Ann in this census. It is possible she is recorded twice. Once as a scholar living at Church Street, Walton On Thames, Surrey with her father, stepmother, her brother Thomas, and half brother Warwick Freebody, and half sister? Phoebe Bannister. It is probably the same Ann recorded at Halliford, Shepperton, Middlesex where she is a house servant. Also on that census is another house servant Sophia Ellson a step-sister?

1861 Census: Ann(e) is a house servant at Denham Place, Denham, Buckinghamshire

1871 Census: Ann Freebody (incorrectly spelt Freeboddy) (aged 36) was visiting a house in Church Street Esher UK where the Lane family lived. Phoebe Lane nee Bannister was married to James Lane, and was Ann's step-sister.

Main Sources of Information: Census Returns, BMD Indexes.

No death register entry has been found for an Ann Freebody that fits. Therefore the assumption has been made that Ann Married. The only marriage register entry found to fit is Ann Freebody marrying either William Arnold, or Charles Phillip Parslow in 1871 at Brentford Middlesex.

At this time (Nov 2012) it is assumed that Ann married William Arnold as Charles Parslow appears to have married an Elizabeth Wells. Further searches would indicate that Ann was not alive in 1881, and there is a death register entry for an Ann Arnold in Stepney London in 1877 that would fit with Ann's age. The marriage and death info has not been proved.
